Overview

Kristina Mar Portuguese artist living in Kyoto Japan will give  5-day intensive masterclass explores the poetic intersection between ceramic screen printing and slumped glass technology — a dialogue between image and volume, surface and mass.

Participants engage in a complete creative process: from mould theory and silk application on wet clay, to photo-emulsion screen preparation, kiln logic, and glass slumping over ceramic forms.

The workshop culminates in the development of a sculptural composition integrating fired ceramics, slumped glass and raw plaster elements. Each material retains its distinct presence while contributing to a unified body of work.

Process is not concealed — it becomes content.
Material transformation, tension and trace remain visible.
